Good Charlotte “secret show announced”

Benji and Joel Madden from Good Charlotte are in town for the next two weeks, here to co-host the Nickelodean Kids Choice Awards, an appearance on Australian and also on Rove.

But the pair have today announced one special acoustic show in Sydney on Monday November 2 at the Factory. One show only and it is all ages.

Tickets went on sale yesterday (Thurs Oct 29) at 9am from the Factory Box Office (02) 9550 3666 or Ticketek – 132 849 or http://www.ticketek.com.au (Tickets are limited to 6 per person)

The exclusive performance comes in the middle of the band recording their fifth studio album, Cardiology, due for release in early 2010 through Sony Music Australia.

AVATAR: FINALLY THE FULL TRAILER

FINALLY! This is the trailer we’ve been waiting for, the one that finally shows that there’s more to Avatar than just giant blue Na’vi aliens, that it’s a story about love and survival and the importance of life!.

Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine on the planet Pandora who, as an Avatar – a human mind in an alien body – finds himself in a desperate fight for his survival and that of the indigenous beings called Na’vi.

Avatar is both written and directed by Oscar winning visionary filmmaker James Cameron, of Piranha II, The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, True Lies, and Titanic previously. He has been developing the technology to make this movie for the last 10 years. 20th Century Fox is bringing James Cameron’s Avatar to both IMAX and regular theaters in 3D around the world on December 18th.

My Space music studio: awesome venues in Sydney

Couple of weeks ago MySpace hosted and epic event “The release of Myspace Music studio” a home for new bands born on Myspace. Lot of people from all the ages enjoyed mini concerts in Sydney and Melbourne from KIM (The Presets), Short Stack, Bob Evans, Lost Valentinos, Leader Cheetah, The Middle East, The Sundance Kids, Whitley, Wes Carr, Bluejuice, Cassette Kids, Renee Cassar, Andy Bull, Bang Gang, Kid Sam, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Ernest Ellis, Lions at Your Door, Purple Sneaker DJs.

The main comments about this events were almost the same: We need more free events like this…My space rocks.

The first day Short Stack was the cause of the screams of all the teenagers waiting for them, with an incredible acoustic performance and then meeting the fans for around 30 min, which was a dream for all of them. The last day a big bbq was waiting  to all the fans finishing the venue with DJ Kim from the Presets, making all the public dance with his unique electronic style.

We really appreciate this initiative that myspace made for the former musicians and for the people who loves music…GOOD ONE MYSPACE!

THE “A-TEAM” first official picture

Finally the first official photo from Joe Carnahan’s (Smokin’ Aces, Pride and Glory) The A-Team!.

The A Team is the adaptation of the 1980’s TV show is about a group of ex-Army Special Forces who work as soldiers while being on the run from the military for a crime they didn’t commit. Starring as the elite A-Team are: Sharlto Copley as Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus

The A-team will hit the teathers the next June 11th, 2010

Nickelodeon/Paramount got the rights for TMNT

Nickelodeon has acquired global rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise from The Mirage Group / 4Kids Entertainment for roughly $60 million. Nickelodeon also announced plans to develop a new CG-animated television series based on the popular superhero franchise, anticipated to premiere in 2012. Additionally, in partnership with Viacom’s Paramount Pictures, a release of a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film is also planned for 2012. New Line previously released the originally three live-action TMNT films and Warner Brothers released the recent CGI movie from 2007.

The new live-action TMNT movie it’s supposed to be a Batman Begins-like look at the origin of the Turtles…at least that is the main rumour at this time.
