Hillarious local comedian Lawrence Leung will be performing this weekend at the Parade Theatre in  Kensington as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival his act “Lawrence Leung wants a Jet Pack”.

Lawrence Leung has a dream…A dream that one day, all humankind can stand side-by-side (but not too close to each other’s jet turbines) and take off into the skies. Programs like Beyond 2000 told us that by now we’d all be flying in jetpacks, but much like their opening titles where a robot nanny pushes a child on a swing, it’s all disappointment and rusty pipe-dreams.

In his latest comedic venture, Lawrence explores the dizzying heights of obsession, daydreams, backyard  MacGyvers, falling and picking oneself up again. In the process, he discovers that he’ not the only one keeping the dream of single-person jet propulsion aeronautics alive.

Mostly known by his show on ABC , funnyman Lawrence Leung will be performing only this weekend.

Don’t miss it!

It’s a must see show!

Dates:     Fri 6 – Sat 7 May at 7:30pm

Tickets: Adult $29.50, Conc. $25, Groups (8+) $25

Location: Parade Theatre 215 Anzac Parade, Kensington. NSW 2033

Supanova has posted on its official facebook page the following news:

“Bad news followed by good news. An official release will follow on the website but Luke Perry and Cary Elwes have had to postpone due to work commitments. We immediately rang Tom Felton though and in a huge coup, considering how close his appearance will be prior to the release of the final chapter of the Harry Potter epic, he readily agreed to come back due to the fantastic time he had with us earlier in the month.

So Potter fans be happy, because Draco Malfoy will be in Sydney as well!

We will be waiting for the official statement on their official site.
