The first official trailer for new director Larysa Kondracki’s ‘The Whistleblower’ is now online.

The synopsis:
Inspired by actual events, Kathy (Academy Award(R) winner Rachel Weisz) is an American police officer who takes a job working as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk.

The film is set to be released the next August 5th, 2011 in Usa with no official release date for Australia yet.

The Hobbit: Orlando Bloom will come back as Legolas

Peter Jackson confirmed on his facebook page that Orlando Bloom will comeback as Legolas for The Hobbit:

“Ten years ago, Orlando Bloom created an iconic character with his portrayal of Legolas. I’m excited to announce today that we’ll be revisiting Middle Earth with him once more. I’m thrilled to be working with Orlando again. Funny thing is, I look older—and he doesn’t! I guess that’s why he makes such a wonderful elf.”

Bloom will renunite with his old mates,  Ian McKellen (Gandalf ), Hugo Weaving (Elrond), Andy Serkis (Gollum),  Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Ian Holm (old Bilbo), and Elijah Wood (Frodo).

Marcus Nispel’s “Conan the Barbarian” – New Trailer

A new epic trailer, full of action and battles for Marcus Nispel’s “Conan the Barbarian” is now online.

The Smurfs – New tv spot

A new tv spot with new footage for the Smurf is now online and it’s very funny. The spot was live on American idol and that’s why the musical style of the clip.

The movie features the voices of Alan Cumming, Katy Perry, Anton Yelchin, Pual Reubens, B.J. Novak, Fred Armisen, George Lopez, Kenan Thompson, John Oliver, and Jonathan Winters, with Hank Azaria playing Gargamel.

The evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village and they tumble from their magical world into ours – in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

The movie will hit Australian cinemas on September 15, 2011.

Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”: Cast updates

Some new names for Christopher Nolan’s epic trilogy ending “The Dark Knight Rises”  have been added to the cast: Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti and Joey King.

All of them will join to Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine.

The Dark Knight Rises will hit Australian cinemas on July 19, 2012.
