Ever wanted to have JEBEDIAH turn up out of nowhere to give you a surprise, impromptu gig for just you and 300 other people? That would be pretty cool, huh? Well, we hate to break it to you, but you’re too late.

Channel [V] and JEBEDIAH sprung uni students [and some savvy viewers] with a [V] GUERILLA GIG at University of Technology, Sydney this afternoon. That’s kinda that whole point of [V] GUERILLA GIG, it’s a live performance when (and where) you least expect it. So if we’d told you about it before it happened, it wouldn’t be very surprising would it?

Aussie alt-rock powerhouse JEBEDIAH took over the uni bar with their killer acoustic performance, showcasing songs from their new album Kosciuszko which is out tomorrow. The five-song set included She’s Like A Comet, Control,  Harpoon and Feet Touch The Ground… they then finished the gig off with an encore to their first ever single Leaving Home.

[V] GUERILLA GIGS bring the music to you right when you least expect it. They can happen with any artist, anywhere, anytime!

And why do we do them? Channel [V] is all about bringing music to the people and we want to create memorable music experiences – and for those lucky punters who happen to be in the right place at the right time for these gigs, it’s a musical memory money can’t buy.

Channel [V] has already hit parts of the country, bringing [V] GUERILLA GIGS to Adelaide with Good Charlotte and Grinspoon, Bendigo with Kisschasy, Sydney with The Ting Tings, Thirsty Merc, Bluejuice, Basement Birds and Amy Meredith, Brisbane with Washington, Perth with British India, Melbourne with The Cat Empire, Wollongong with Little Red, Mackay with Bertie Blackman, the Gold Coast with The Potbelleez and even Paris, France with Plan B.

Keep your eyes peeled kids as more [V] GUERILLA GIGS are in store, so maybe you should just sit at a bus stop somewhere and hope one happens. Or better still, for clues on which city will be hit next, head to www.vmusic.com.au and follow Channel [V] on Facebook. It’s as easy as that.

[V] GUERILLA GIGS are back! And what better way to kick off the next round of these surprise gigs by crashing Adelaide with none other than masters of pop-punk, GOOD CHARLOTTE!

A band that clearly needs no introduction, GOOD CHARLOTTE brought the bustling Rundle Mall in Adelaide to a stand-still this afternoon, surprising shoppers as they put on a surprise and impromptu performance – our biggest one to date! You see, that’s kinda the whole point of a [V] GUERILLA GIG. It’s a live performance when (and where) you least expect it.

In front of an amazing crowd of 2000 people, Joel and Benji Madden rocked a killer acoustic set taking time out of their national Cardiology tour. In their signature brash and energetic style, the guys performed 3 songs which included Sex On The Radio, Like It’s Her Birthday, and The Anthem.
