This year  the Golden Globe Awards were hosted by British funny man Ricky Gervais live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

The Golden Globes 2011  was held without many surprises to hear the winners, as Natalie Portman, Glee and Social network were in between the favourites. However, Jim Parsons, Katey Sagal and Paul Giamatti  were unexpected winners in their categories. Moreover, our fellow nominated Australians: Nicole Kidman, Jackie Weaver and Geoffrey Rush missed out the gold this year.

ME AND ORSON WELLES directed by Richard Linklater starring Zack Efron, Claire  Danes and Christian McKay tell the story about the Mercury Theatre production of “Julius Ceasar” directed by Orson Welles in 1937. The story is told through the eyes of Richard Samuels (Zack Efron) who is the youngest actor in the play, and get the best experience working side by side with Orson Welles (Christian McKay) and falling in love from  his assistant Sonja Jones (Claire Danes).
